Terms of service

Effective 28 October 2026

These terms apply to the MotionForge app, its accounts and MotionForge Pro. By using MotionForge you agree to them. MotionForge is run by Karthik Varma in India; contact karthikvarmaedu@gmail.com.

The app

You may install and use MotionForge on your own Macs. Editing, previewing and saving are free and need no account. The source code is published on GitHub; publishing it does not by itself grant rights to copy or redistribute it beyond what its licence allows.

Your work

Everything you make with MotionForge is yours. We claim no rights to your projects, media or exports, and they stay on your computer.

Accounts

You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse of payments or attacks on the service.

Free trial and free access

MotionForge Pro

Fair use

Don't try to get around the Pro check, resell access, or interfere with the service or other users.

No warranty

MotionForge is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be free of errors or always available. Keep backups of important projects.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to MotionForge is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost work or profits.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and significant changes will be announced in the app. You can stop using MotionForge and delete your account at any time.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
